• And a visit to Dahshur: The Bent pyramid and the red pyramid, that built by King Senefru (founder of the 4 th dynasty and the of father of the famous pharaoh Cheops). The style of these two pyramids makes it possible to follow the architectural evolution of the pyramidal design, illustrating the intermediate stage between the type of the step pyramid of Saqqara and the perfectly pyramidal type of those which are on the Giza plateau.
